A Bit About Me
Personally: I've been an avid horror media consumer since I was about 4. I come from a very long line of Halloween lovers and autumn enjoyers, so I'm sure that had something to do with it. I was a Hooked on Phonics kid (am I dating myself??) and I read over 100 books every year. Most evenings you'll find me being attacked by my 4 ferrets while I lay on the floor in their room while Criminal Minds is on in the background.
Professionally: My librarian career started in 2019 and I've been mostly working in public libraries since then. I have been reviewing books and audiobooks for LibraryJournal for the last couple of years. As a published reviewer, I need to have extreme attention to detail, which I apply in all aspects of my work. Editing fits very snugly into my past experiences and my current passions and I have greatly enjoyed my transition into the publishing side of the bookish world. I have been editing for the last year and greatly enjoy it.

Work Experience
2019 onward
2022 onward
2018 and prior
I have my Masters in Library and Information Science and I've been working in public and academic libraries in all departments for the last 5 years. The last year I have been working on a university campus and doing editing for an indie horror publisher.
For the past couple of years I have been a published audiobook reviewer for Library Journal. Keep an eye out for my name if you get the magazines!
Prior to my library career I was in the military (Marine Corps) and also worked in the medical field for a while. I have a very diverse background for my age, but I think all of the differing experiences have helped me in all of my jobs and will continue to do so!
